WHAT IS NRHH?
National Residence Hall Honorary is a service of the National Association of College and University Residence Halls. It is designed to give local, regional and national recognition to students and staff making outstanding contributions to their residence halls. The National Association of College and University Residence Halls firmly believes in the value of student involvement in residence hall life through community service, social programs, and educational programs.
WHAT ARE THE MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS?
An individual must:
THE NOMINATION PROCESS
• Have lived in the residence halls for at least one semester prior to induction.
• Have made a positive contribution to the residence hall system.
• Be in good standing at Mississippi State University.
• Have at least a 2.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale.
Nominations are taken from Housing and Residence Life Professional Staff, RDs, RHA Executive Board members, and current NRHH members. After nominations are received, a selection committee chosen by the NRHH Executive Board will evaluate and choose the top 1%.
